COMMISSIONERS' REPORT
Commissioner Tafoya requested for the following to be noted: It has been five years
since my last ride along experience. I reached out to the Salinas Police Department over
a month ago to express my interest in participating in a ride along opportunity. I have
followed up with this request twice since then. While I understand the department may be
facing some staffing challenges, it is disheartening to not have received any response
during this time. I believe that a prompt acknowledgement of such requests is only fair
and respectful.
Commissioner Martinez requested to schedule a film committee meeting.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Director Lundquist notified the commission of the departure of Library and Community
Services staff Trish Meraz and Mila Rianto. Director Lundquist announced the Movie in
the Park at Natividad Creek Park.
