CONSENT ID#21-015 Minutes Committee member Sandoval requested the minutes of October 22, 2020 be continued to the next meeting. Upon motion by Committee member Sandoval, seconded by Committee member Farias, the minutes of October 20, 2020 was tabled. Wardwell, Maureen Wruck, Aidee Farias, Alondra Medrano and Christopher Barrera City of Salinas Page 1 Measure G Oversight Committee Meeting Minutes - Final January 21, 2021 ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS ID#21-020 December 31, 2020 Measure G Financial Report Finance Director Matt Pressey provided an overview of the Measure G Financial Report as of December 31, 2020. This report presents the midyear report, and shows revenue of 14.4 million, which is 69% of the budget. Measure E, Measure G and the General Fund were short am estimated 14 million in revenues due to the pandemic. Funds from the General Fund were used to balance the Measure E and Measure G budget. There are 90 positions funded through Measure G, which is about half of the Measure G Fund, and the other half of the Measure G Fund is used for projects. Committee member Farias stated that she would like to have the roles and responsibilities of the Measure G Oversight committee explained. Committee member Farias requested an additional meeting in March. Measure G Committee members supported the idea of having an additional meeting in March. Chair McGrath-Massie stated that the additional meeting should be educational, a history lesson, a deep dive, with Department Heads present to get the committee members up to speed, so that committee members are as effective as they can be. Committee member Barrera stated that he hoped for more meetings and the ability to add items to the agenda.
