Minutes Airport Advisory Board December 12, 2016 Airport Management Office Regular Session I. Call to Order. The meeting was called to Order by Chairman Gregson at 10 am. II. Public Comments: Carol Peters introduced herself as being a neighbor of the airport with Pecan Plantation. IV. Approval of September 12, 2016 Minutes – Approved 5-0 V. Presentation by the Civil Air Patrol: Received a presentation by Major Matthew Congrove with the Civil Air Patrol presented the Airport Advisory Board and Texas Aviation Partners with a certificate of appreciation and a commander’s coin, a military tradition that dates back to World War 2. VI. Receive an update regarding Airport Projects Process: Jim Wimberly with Texas Aviation Partners reviewed and gave an update on the airport projects progress. VII. Receive an update regarding Air Traffic Control Operations: Tower Manager, Mike Keyworth gave a review on the current closures and aircraft operations at the airport. VIII. Questions and Answers: Mr. Koenreich spoke of how important having customs at the airport would benefit the City. Mr. Roach requested that signage be mounted at all gates to call the main office for security issues or concerns. IX. Schedule Next Quarterly Meeting: Next scheduled meeting will be March 13th at 10:00am. (Was changed to March 6th at 10:00am) X. Adjourned: 10:48am
