Minutes Airport Advisory Board September 11, 2017 Airport Management Office Regular Session I. Call to Order. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gregson at 10 am. II. Public Comments - None IV. Approval of June 12, 2017 minutes: David Badal made a motion for approval with a second from Dan Stauffer. Approved 5-0. V. Consideration and action on appointment of Chuck Nash as the Airport Advisory Board’s representative on the Greater San Marcos Partnership Board of Directors. Receive an update regarding airport projects progress: Stacey Batch with Texas Aviation Partners reviewed and gave an update on airport projects. Ed Oshinski with TxDOT Aviation made a presentation on conditions of airfield pavements. Sam Waltman with Cardno gave a presentation on their findings during the wildlife hazardous assessment study. Jim Wimberly gave a review of their trip to Washington DC regarding funding for the airport. Mindy League with DAHU gave a presentation on airport user survey results and next steps. VII. Receive an update regarding air traffic control operations: Jim Wimberly and Stacey Batch gave a review on the current closures and aircraft operations at the airport. VIII. Questions and answers: Special thanks were given to Berry Aviation and Redbird Skyport from the CAP for their help with San Marcos based operations during hurricane relief efforts. IX.
