Approved Minutes Airport Advisory Board June 11, 2018 Airport Management Office Regular Session I. Call to Order. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Gregson at 10:01 am. II. Public Comments – Stephen Alexander with TAP introduced TAP partner Jim Parker IV. Approval of March 12, 2018 minutes: David Badal made a motion for approval with a second from Travis Ahlhorn. Approved 4-0. V. Received an update regarding consideration and action on the appointment of Advisory Board’s representative Chuck Nash to the Greater San Marcos Partnership Board of Directors. Chuck Nash was named the Advisory Board representative. VI. Received an update regarding airport projects progress: Jim Wimberly with Texas Aviation Partners gave an update on taxiway Delta, RWY 13 ILS. Cassidy Berenato with Texas Aviation Partners gave an update on airfield signage replacement, and airfield striping. Kirk Abbott with the City of San Marcos Engineering department gave an update on new Kilo hangar, and Master Plan. Kevin Hoffman with Klotz gave an update on FM 110. Cassidy Berenato with Texas Aviation Partners gave an update on PEC Electric Loop, hangar maintenance, and fuel flowage fee change. VII. Received an update regarding marketing: Cassidy with Texas Aviation Partners gave an update on AOPA Fly-in Application, and Berry Aviation Construction. Jim Wimberly with Texas Aviation Partners informed not current update with Customs due to John Koenreich’s absence. Will be discussed at next meeting. VIII. Receive an update regarding air traffic control operations: Billy Whiting with San Marcos Tower gave an update on new security procedures for entering tower, security fencing requirements, aircraft operations and controller operations at the airport. IX. Questions and answers: How big will the fence be around the air traffic control tower? When will road curve by Berry be repaired? X. Schedule Next Quarterly Meeting: Next scheduled meeting will be September 10, 2018 at 10:00am. XI. Adjourned: 10:44am
