Comments shall have a time limit of three minutes each and speakers must state their name. MINUTES 1. Consider approval, by motion, of the January 9, 2025 regular meeting minutes. PRESENTATION 2. Receive a presentation from staff titled “The San Marcos Story – Snapshots of the Early Years as Preserved in the Local History Collection at the San Marcos Public Library”.  PUBLIC HEARINGS Interested persons may participate in any of the Public Hearing items: 1) To participate/speak remotely (online) during the Public Hearings, email hpcommission@sanmarcostx.gov no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the day of the meeting, or 2) Email written comments. HPC-25-05 (207 Herndon Street) Hold a public hearing and consider a request for a Certificate of Appropriateness by John Mark Slack, on behalf of JTJS Investments LLC, to allow various exterior alterations which include replacement of the metal roofing material with composition roofing shingles, replacement of the asbestos siding material with fiber cement board in a board and batten style, installation of two windows along the west side façade and one window on the front façade, replacement of the front door, construction of a new front porch, and installation of new corrugated metal skirting. 4. 323 and 325 North Comanche Street Demolition Review (Permit #2024-52542) Hold a public hearing and consider a 90-day demolition delay period extension and discuss alternatives to demolition and methods for potential preservation of historic character of the property.
