Identify funding options to create a permanent pedestrian mall in Kissing Alley
o Grant submission - Burditt Consultants
o Increased inquiries for event rental
Create a sense of place through aesthetically pleasing and functional amenities and lighting
o Grant submissions - LCRA, Cigarette Recycling through Keep America Beautiful
o New dog waste stations installed
Encourage and support historic and cultural preservation efforts

Recognize Downtown businesses through monthly Business of the Month award and annual Downtown

o Vote on February’s Business of the Month

beautification efforts and programming
o Goal for 2017 met - 4000 volunteer hours logged
Advocate for Downtown and report on success to the public
Economic Vitality
