City of San Marcos Regular Meeting Main Street Advisory Board Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 5:30pm Main Street Office 317 N LBJ Dr San Marcos, Texas I. Call To Order II. Roll Call III. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period: Each speaker signed up prior to the meeting being called to order will be called in the order in which they signed-up. Each speaker will be provided up to three minutes to speak. MINUTES 1. Consider approval, by motion, of the January, 16, 2019, meeting minutes. PRESENTATIONS 2. Receive staff presentation regarding City of San Marcos DRAFT Strategic Initiatives for 2019, specifically items which pertain to downtown and the Main Street Program. ACTION ITEMS 3. Consider recommendation from Organization Committee to select March Business of the Month. 4. Consider approval of Main Street Advisory Board Bylaws. DISCUSSION ITEMS 5. Hold discussion regarding Main Street budget. 6. Review annual advisory board activities and submit comments, if necessary, to be included in the board’s annual review. 7. Hold discussion of Main Street’s involvement in Sights and Sounds for 2019.  8. Hold discussion regarding a possible update of the Main Street Program’s Mission Statement. REPORTS 9. Receive a report from Organization Committee Chair regarding activities and updates. 10. Receive a report from Economic Vitality Committee Chair regarding activities and updates. 11. Receive a report from Promotion Committee Chair regarding activities and updates. 12. Receive a report from Design Committee Chair regarding activities and updates. 13. Receive a report from staff regarding Main Street Program events, activities and projects. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS 14. Board Members may provide requests for discussion items for a future agenda in accordance with the board’s approved bylaws. No further discussion will be held related to topics proposed until they are posted on a future agenda in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. VI. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. This is an opportunity for the Press and Public to ask questions related to items on this agenda. VII.
