Neighborhood Commission Regular Meeting Agenda September 18, 2019 at 6:15 p.m. Neighborhood Enhancement Conference Room 630 E Hopkins, Bldg. 5, San Marcos, Texas 78666 I. Call to Order Please note that all commission meetings may be recorded and uploaded to the City’s website at www.sanmarcostx.gov II. Roll Call III. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period: Each speaker signed up prior to the meeting being called to order will be called in order of sign-up, and will be allowed three minutes to speak about items posted or not on the agenda. IV. MINUTES: Consider approval, by motion, of the August 21, 2019 meeting minutes V. PRESENTATIONS a) TXDOT: I35 Corridor Update/Mobility Project b) Historical Resources Report (Alison Brake, Planning) c) Presentation on LDC ordinance as related to Heritage Trees (Abby Gillifillan, Planning) VI. ITEMS FOR ACTION/DISCUSSION a) Discuss and consider for possible action a draft resolution to Council regarding combining Downtown, Sector 8 with Sector 1 for Neighborhood Commission representation. b) Review and discuss highlights of Sector 4: Neighborhood Conversation held September 11, 2019 VII. REPORTS a) Commissioner Report: Neighborhood Commission resolutions status by Lizbeth Dobbins, Chair b) Commissioner Report: Wonder World/Hunter TXDOT project update by Lizbeth Dobbins (Sector 9) Note: deferred to future meeting by request of commissioner c) Staff Report: staffing changes in Neighborhood Enhancement by DerryAnn Krupinsky, Interim Director d) Staff Report: Status report of success for Bobcats Give Back by Samantha Armbruster e) Staff Report: Upcoming events, including National Neighbor Day proclamation and National Neighborhood Night Out by Samantha Armbruster f) Staff Report: Residential Rental Registration update by Shanna O’Brien, Code Compliance Manager g) Staff Report: Resource Recovery: changes to bulk pick up scheduling by Amy Kirwin, Community Enhancement Initiatives Manager VIII.
