Neighborhood Commission Regular Meeting Agenda March 18, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Neighborhood Enhancement Conference Room 630 E Hopkins, Bldg. 5, San Marcos, Texas 78666 I. Call to Order Please note that all commission meetings may be recorded and uploaded to the City’s website at www.sanmarcostx.gov II. Roll Call III. 30 Minute Citizen Comment Period: Each speaker signed up prior to the meeting being called to order will be called in order of sign-up, and will be allowed three minutes to speak about items posted or not on the agenda. IV. INTRODUCTION OF NEW COMMISSIONERS & CHAIR/VICE CHAIR NOMINATIONS & ELECTION Introduce new commissioners and then receive nominations and elect the Chair and Vice-Chair, the term of office shall be one year, beginning April 1st and ending March 31st in accordance with the commission’s adopted bylaws. V. MINUTES: Consider approval, by motion, of the February 19, 2020 meeting minutes VI. PRESENTATIONS a) Receive a staff presentation on the Spring 2020 Preferred Scenario Map Amendment Request. b) Receive a staff presentation/update on Sessoms Drive improvements as it relates to pedestrian and cyclist safety in Neighborhood Commission Resolution No. 2019-007R submitted to City Council on September 18, 2019. c) Receive a presentation by MoveSM related to Sessoms Drive improvements and recommendations for further pedestrian and cyclist safety. VII. ITEMS FOR ACTION/DISCUSSION a) Review and discuss the presentation/update information received on the Spring 2020 Preferred Scenario Map Amendment Request. b) Review, discuss and consider for possible action the presentation/update information received on Sessoms Drive improvements. VIII.
