4. NOTE: The Zoning Board of Adjustments may adjourn into Executive Session to consider any item listed on this

agenda if a matter is raised that is appropriate for Executive Session discussion. An announcement will be made of
the basis for the Executive Session discussion. The Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals may also publicly
discuss an item listed on the agenda for Executive Session.
5. Citizen Comment Period.
6. VR-13-05 Hold a public hearing and consider a request by the City of San Marcos Fire Marshal for the
termination of a nonconforming parking area at 324 Moore Street.
7. VR-13-10 Hold a public hearing and consider a request by Lewis Sign for a variance from the sign height
requirements of Section 6.3.3.3 of the Land Development Code to allow a 55’ 7 ½” tall on-premise
freestanding sign at 2980 South IH 35 instead of a 42 ½’ sign as permitted by ordinance (Nissan Sign).
8. VR-13-11 Hold a public hearing and consider a request by Huckabee for a variance from the lighting
standards under Section 6.5.2.4 of the Land Development Code as detailed in the Technical Manual in
order to allow the average lighting level for the football stadium at 2601 Rattler Road to be increased to 60
foot candles.
9. VR-13-12 Hold a public hearing and consider a request by Huckabee for a variance from the lighting
standards under Section 6.5.2.1 of the Land Development Code in order to allow light trespass from the
football stadium at 2601 Rattler Road in excess of what is allowed by code onto a neighboring lot, currently
zoned MF-18.
10. Consider approval of the minutes of the ZBOA Regular Meeting of October 17th, 2013.
11. Receive an update from staff on membership term expiration dates.
12. “Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. This is an opportunity for the Press and Public to ask
questions related to items on this agenda.”
13. Adjourn.
