Determine if the City nominee to the Board of Directors of the San Pablo Economic Development Corporation (SPEDC) should be a resident of San Pablo 2. If the City nominee should be resident in San Pablo, then conduct interview of eligible candidate and consider nomination by majority vote by resolution: a. Saman Farid (San Pablo resident) 3. If the City Council determines by minute order that as a policy matter the City nominee to the SPEDC Board does not need to be a resident in San Pablo, then consider re-opening the application period for a short period to reconsider previously disqualified applications, and to solicit any new applications from non-San Pablo residents. 4. Alternatively, other recommended options previously advised by the City Manager include: (1) the City Council may appoint a member of the City Council to the SPEDC Board; or (2) the City Council may waive the City's nominee for this particular term to be filled by subsequent appointment by the SPEDC Board of Directors.
