SAND SPRINGS – POGUE AIRPORT Airport Advisory Board MINUTES Thursday, October 11, 2018 5:30 p.m. Airport Terminal Conference Room Sand Springs-Pogue Airport 3200 Airport Road Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063 MEMBERS PRESENT: Robert Fleenor, Vice Chairman Rick Westcott Dr. Tom Campbell David Kvach ABSENT: Dr. Mark Manahan, Chairman Leia Anderson, Secretary Joe Stephenson ALSO PRESENT: Ken Madison, Airport Supervisor Sunnie Smith, Recording Secretary Grant Gerondale, Community Development The Airport Advisory Board met in a regular session on Thursday, October 11, 2018 In the Airport Terminal conference room at the Sand Springs - Pogue Airport, pursuant to the agenda filed with the City Clerk’s office, and posted at 10:00 a.m. on October 8, 2018 on the bulletin board located in the first floor lobby of the Sand Springs Municipal Building, 100 East Broadway Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063. 1. Call to Order Vice Chairman Fleenor called the meeting to order at 5:36 p.m. 2. Roll Call Vice Chairman Fleenor called for individual roll call with members replying in the following manner: Dr. Campbell, no resoonse; Dr. Manahan, no response; Mr. Fleenor, here; Mr. Stephenson, here; Mrs. Anderson, no response; Mr. Kvach, here; Mr. Westcott; here. 3. Minutes The minutes of the September 13, 2018 Regular Airport Advisory Board meeting were included in the agenda packets for the Board’s review and approval.  A motion was made by Dr. Campbell and seconded by Mr. Westcott that the minutes of the September 13, 2018 Airport Advisory be approved as written. Vice Chairman Fleenor called for the vote recorded as follows: Mr. Fleenor, abstain; Dr. Manahan, no response; Dr. Campbell, aye; Mr. Stephenson, no response; Mrs. Anderson, no response; Mr. Kvach aye; Mr. Westcott, aye. 4. ISR 1000 COMMITTEE REPORT Committee Chairman updated the Board Members on airport improvements, upcoming events and any other activities including scheduled events of interest to the Board Members. 5. ENGINEERS REPORT Staff and board members discussed any pending airport CIP projects of interest, FAA/OAC funding. Discussion Item Only. 6. SAND SPRINGS POGUE AIRPORT 5 YEAR CIP UPDATE Staff and board members discussed the 5 year CIP and National Plan of Integrated Airport System (NOIAS) Twenty Year plan. A motion was made by Mr. Kvach and seconded by Mr. Westcott they accept the CIP as written and provided. Vice Chairman Fleenor called for the vote recorded as follows: Mr. Fleenor, abstain; Dr. Manahan, no response; Dr. Campbell, aye; Mr. Stephenson, no response; Mrs. Anderson, no response; Mr. Kvach aye; Mr. Westcott, aye 7. AIRCRAFT HANGAR CONSTRUCTION Staff and board discussed the airport hangar construction at Sand Springs Pogue Airport. Discussion Item Only. 8. SAND SPRINGS POGUE FALL FLY IN Staff and board members discussed planning, activities and information for the schedules SSPA Fly-In for Saturday, October 20, 2018. Discussion Item Only. 9. AIRPORT SUPERVISOR’S MONTHLY MANAGEMENT REPORT The board and staff reviewed and discussed the monthly management report for September 2018. Discussion Item Only. 10. ADJOURNMENT The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 11, 2018.
