MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING SAND SPRINGS CULTURAL & HISTORICAL MUSEUM TRUST AUTHORITY Tuesday, February 16, 2016 Sand Springs Museum 9 E. Broadway - Sand Springs, OK 6:00pm MEMBERS PRESENT: Steve Clem 2-0 Mayme Crawford 2-0 Tim Dixon 2-0 Debbie Nobles 1-1 Cynthia Phillips 2-1 Vicki Sisney 1-1 Grady Whitaker 2-1 MEMBERS ABSENT: None OTHERS PRESENT: None The Sand Springs Cultural & Historical Museum Trust Authority met for a regular meeting pursuant to the agenda filed at the City Clerk’s office and posted on the digital display board located in the lobby of the Sand Springs Municipal Building, 100 E. Broadway, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. 1. CALL TO ORDER – Trustee Phillips, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 6:01pm. 2. ROLL CALL – Trustee Phillips, Chairman, called for an individual roll call with members replying in the following manner: Clem, here Crawford, here Dixon, no answer Nobles, here Phillips, here Sisney, here Whitaker, no answer 3. MINUTES (January 26, 2016) – Trustee Sisney moved to approve the Minutes, as presented. Seconded by Trustee Clem. Trustee Phillips, Chairman, called for an individual roll call with members replying in the following manner: Clem, aye Crawford, aye Nobles, abstain Phillips, aye Sisney, aye The motion carried 4-0-1 NOTE: Trustee Whitaker arrived at the noted time of 6:04pm 4. BILLS None 5. FINANCIALS – Information only – no action taken Agenda – Cont’d -2- February 16, 2016 6. MUSEUM ASSOCIATION REPORT – None NOTE: Trustee Dixon arrived at the noted time of 6:07pm 7. COMMITTEE REPORTS – Information only – no action taken 8. EXECUTIVE SESSION – A. Trustee Whitaker moved to approve retiring into executive session for the purpose of reviewing candidates for the Museum Building Manager position in accordance with Title 25 , Section 307(B)(1). Trustee Dixon seconded the motion. Trustee Phillips, Chairman, called for an individual roll call with members replying in the following manner: Clem, aye Crawford, aye Dixon, aye Nobles, aye Phillips, aye Sisney, aye Whitaker, aye The motion carried 7-0-0 B. Trustee Whitaker moved to approve returning to the meeting following executive session. Trustee Dixon seconded the motion. Trustee Phillips, Chairman, called for an individual roll call with members replying in the following manner: Clem, aye Crawford, aye Dixon, aye Nobles, aye Phillips, aye Sisney, aye Whitaker, aye The motion carried 7-0-0 C. Trustee Dixon moved to approve taking action shown below, and Trustee Crawford seconded the motion. 1. To hire Ginger Murphy as Museum Building Manger for $9.50/hour. Prefer 20 hour work week, but not to exceed 32 hours per week. 2. For Trust Chair to pursue, authorize and purchase worker’s compensation insurance. 3. For Trust Chair to pursue and authorize obtaining payroll services.
