Wekiwa Rd. - Sand Springs, OK Room AB - 6:30pm May 2015 to April 2016 MEMBERS PRESENT: Cathy Burdge 10-1 Kathe Crapster 7-2 Phil Nollan 10-1 Jennifer Smith 9-2 Beau Wilson 5-0 Wendy Wygle 8-2 MEMBERS ABSENT: Daniel Comer 8-3 ALSO PRESENT: Grant Gerondale, Parks Director Paula Jones, Recording Secretary Jeff Edwards, Projects & Facilities Mgr. Joe Medlin, Parks Superintendent Daniel Bradley, Asst. City Manager The Sand Springs Park Board met for a regular meeting pursuant to the agenda filed at the City Clerk’s office and posted on the digital board located in the first floor lobby of the Sand Springs Municipal Building, 100 E. Broadway, Sand Springs, Oklahoma. 1. CALL TO ORDER – Chairman, Cathy Burdge, called the meeting to order at the noted time of 6:30pm. 2. ROLL CALL – Chairman, Cathy Burdge, called for an individual roll call with members replying in the following manner: Burdge, here Comer, no answer Crapster, here Nollan, here Smith, here Wilson, here Wygle, here 3. INVOCATION – Chairman Cathy Burdge asked Beau Wilson to deliver the invocation. 4. MINUTES (March 7, 2016) – Beau Wilson made the motion to approve the Minutes, as presented. Jennifer Smith seconded the motion. Chairman, Cathy Burdge, called for the vote recorded as follows: Burdge, aye Crapster, aye Nollan, aye Smith, aye Wilson, aye Wygle, aye The motion carried 6-0-0 Minutes - Cont’d -2- April 4, 2016 5. HOMETOWN HERO – After reviewing nominees, Cathy Burdge made the motion to award the 2016 Hometown Hero honor to David Ward. Phil Nollan seconded the motion. Chairman, Cathy Burdge, called for the vote recorded as follows: Burdge, aye Crapster, aye Nollan, aye Smith, aye Wilson, aye Wygle, aye The motion carried 6-0-0 6. RESTROOM OPERATIONS AT BASEBALL & SOCCER – This item was tabled until we get proposals from Soccer and Baseball. No action needed 7. DIRECTOR’S REPORT – Information only – no action taken 8.
