CITY OF SANDY OAKS ANIMAL CONTROL ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA September 13, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Sandy Oaks Animal Control Advisory Committee will be held, Monday, September 13, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at Sandy Oaks City Hall located at 22780 Priest Rd, Sandy Oaks, TX 78112 and by telephonic video conferencing, which will be livestreamed and accessible to the public as provided below for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The public will be permitted to offer public comments telephonically or by audio as provided by the agenda and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting. Written comments may be submitted to the City Secretary up two hours before the meeting by emailing jpuente@cityofsandyoaks.com and will be provided to the committee for their consideration. 1. This item allows the public to address the Animal Control Advisory Committee on issues affecting the community and the City. This item will be open for up to 30 minutes with 3 minutes to each speaker. If there are more than 10 speakers, each will be given 2 minutes. 3. Announcements 4. Discuss and/or possible action on updates on the animals currently in custody in our Animal Shelter, being fostered or scheduled for placement. 5. Discuss and/or possible action on update on the animal control part time position. Possibility of posting a volunteer position(s) on social media to help with placement of animals, feeding, and etc. 6.
