CITY OF SANDY OAKS ANIMAL CONTROL ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA August 8, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Animal Control Advisory Committee of the City of Sandy Oaks, Texas will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. 22870 Priest Road, Sandy Oaks, Texas. All agenda items are subject to action. Discuss and possible action on possible course of action to curb the number of puppies/kittens being given away or rehomed on social media sites pertaining to Sandy Oaks. (Martinez) 6. Discuss and possible action on suggesting Council adopt an ordinance to set rehoming fees not to exceed $10.00 above actual costs of vet care and vaccinations before rehoming and if no vet care or vaccinations have been provided, limit the rehoming fee not to exceed $10.00. (Martinez) 7. Discuss and possible action on requiring adoptees and rescues to contract to spay/neuter any animal remaining in City custody or being returned to the City. (Martinez) 8. Discuss and possible action on breeding permits. (Martinez) 9. Discuss and possible action on a request to Council to allocate ARPA funds to subsidize microchip, vaccinations, and spay/neuter for households living at or below 125% of federal poverty level.
