PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA
December 7, 2021
Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Sandy Oaks Park Advisory Committee will be held on Tuesday,
December 7, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at 22870 Priest Road Sandy Oaks, Texas and by telephonic video conferencing
for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action.
The City of Sandy Oaks will also provide a livestream video and telephonic access of the meeting through the link
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6717793635 and Meeting ID 671 779 3635 or by dialing in to any the following phone

requested, enter Meeting ID 671 779 3635.
A recording of the telephonic meeting will be made and will be available to the public in accordance with
the Texas Public Information Act upon written request.
1. Call to order and quorum call.
2. Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Citizens to be heard. Persons wishing to speak may sign up with the Chairperson at least 1 hour in advance
of the meeting by emailing trepino@cityofsandyoaks.com or calling (210) 850-3295 This item allows the
public to address the Park Advisory Committee on issues affecting the community and the City. This item
will be open for up to 30 minutes with 3 minutes to each speaker. If there are more than 10 speakers, each
will be given 2 minutes.
4. Discuss and/or possible action on new park projects that the committee considers viable in 2022.

5. Discuss and/ or possible action on the status of the benches behind the back stop of the baseball infield.

6. Discuss and possible action on updates and issues from the community center (Sarmiento)
7. Discuss and/or possible action on the status of the commercial refrigerator for the community center.
(Repino/Fillinger)
8. Discuss and/or possible action on the status of door repairs for the park rest rooms.(Mayor Ball)
9. Discuss and/or possible action on the status the Monarch Butterfly site project. (Repino)
10. Discuss and/or possible action on utilizing the portable building in the maintenance yard for a community
clothes closet, including relocation and possible fencing (Mayor Ball)
11. Adjourn
I certify that the above notice of a meeting of the Park Advisory Committee was posted at City Hall on or
before D e c e m b e r 3 , 2 0 2 1 by 6:30 p.m. and notice remained posted continuously for at least 72 hours
preceding the scheduled time of said meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
