CITY OF SANDY OAKS PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA February 1, 2022 Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Sandy Oaks Park Advisory Committee will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at 22870 Priest Road Sandy Oaks, Texas and by telephonic video conferencing for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The public will be permitted to offer public comments telephonically or by audio as provided by the agenda and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Citizens to be heard. 4. Discuss and/ or possible action on the status of the outdoor exercise area and equipment. (Fillinger/Repino) 5. Discuss and/or possible action on updates and issues from the community center.(Sarmiento) 6. Discuss and/or possible action on the status of the lighting project for the basketball court and other areas.(Fillinger) 7. Discuss and/or possible action on possibly generating a new survey of the citizens on ideas they have for addition uses for the park(Repino) 8. Discuss and/or possible action on Park activities for Easter including Disk golf employment.(Repino) 9. Discuss and/or possible action on the possibility on using the decommission police van as a book mobile. (Repino) 10. Discuss and/or possible action on developing a biblioteca at some location within the city. (Repino) 11. Discuss and/or possible action on applying for an AARP Community Challenge Grant. Possibilities are benches along the walking trail and possibly resurfacing the walking trail. (Fillinger) 12.
