PARK ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA
April 5, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Park Advisory Committee will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022
at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 22870 Priest Road, Sandy Oaks, Texas. All agenda items are subject to action.
The City of Sandy Oaks will also provide a livestream video and telephonic access of the meeting through the link

The public will be permitted to offer public comments in person, telephonically or by video as provided by the agenda
and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting by signing up with the Chairman at least 15 minutes in
advance of the meeting, if providing comments in person and at least two hours in advance of the meeting by emailing
trepino@cityofsandyoaks.com or by calling (210) 850-3295 if speaking telephonically or by video. Written comments
may be submitted to the Chairman up to two hours before the meeting by emailing trepino@cityofsandyoaks.com and
will be provided to the Committee for their consideration.

2. Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Citizens to be heard.
4. Receive information from Priscilla Schmitt regarding Park, discuss security and other improvements proposed by
Public Works Department. (Repino)
5. Discuss and possible action on planning to bring the Monarch Butterfly Garden to completion (Repino/Fillinger)
6. Discuss and possible action on updates and issues from the community center. (Sarmiento)
7. Discuss and possible action on status of generating a survey for citizens on ideas they have for additional uses for
the park. (Repino/Fillinger)
8. Discuss and possible action on Park activities for Easter including Disk golf employment.(Repino
9. Discuss and possible action on the ideas and or progress on use of retired police van. (Fillinger)
10. Discuss and possible action on developing a BiblioTech at some location within the city.(Repino)
11. Discuss and possible action on progress on the AARP Grant. (Repino)
12. Adjourn.
I certify that the above notice of a meeting of the Park Advisory Committee was posted at City Hall and on the City
website on or before April 2, 2022 by 6:30 p.m. and notice remained posted continuously for at least 72 hours
preceding the schedule time of said meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
