CITY OF SANDY OAKS PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA December 2, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the City of Sandy Oaks Planning & Zoning Commission (“Commission”) will hold a meeting on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at Sandy Oaks City Hall located at 22870 Priest Rd, Sandy Oaks, Texas 78112 where a quorum of the Commission will meet for the purpose of considering the agenda items as provided below. All agenda items are subject to action. The meeting will also be livestreamed and accessible by video by using the link https://us02web.zoom.us/j/6717793635 and Meeting ID 671 779 3635 or by telephone by dialing in to any of the following phone numbers: 346-248-7799, 669-900-6833, 929-205-6099, 253-215-8782, 301-715-8592 or 312-616-6799. When requested, enter Meeting ID 671 779 3635. The public will be permitted to offer public comments in person, telephonically or by audio as provided below and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting by signing up with the Chair at least 15 minutes in advance of the meeting if providing comments in person and at least two hours in advance of the meeting by emailing pzcommissioner@cityofsandyoaks.com or by calling (210) 607-0834 if providing comments telephonically or by audio. Written comments may be submitted to the Chair up two hours before the meeting by emailing pzcommissioner@cityofsandyoaks.com and will be provided to the Commission for their consideration. A recording of the telephonic meeting will be made and will be available to the public in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act upon written request. 1. Call to order and quorum call. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Citizens to be heard. Members of the public may address the Commission at this time. Each speaker is allowed three (3) minutes to speak. One person may speak on behalf of a group. Up to three (3) persons may register on behalf of the group in order for the spokesperson to be allotted up to nine (9) minutes to speak. 4. Consideration and approval of minutes from October 21, 2021 and November 18, 2021 meeting. 5. Workshop to discuss proposed Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Sandy Oaks and/or take possible action on the proposed Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance to include the following:  a. P&Z Commission Zoning Ordinance Checklist- revision/discussion b. Draft Zoning Definitions Document-revision/discussion c. Land Use Regulations: permitted, not permitted, special use permit revision/discussion 6. Discussion and possible action on scheduling the next meeting(s) and/or public hearing(s) of the Commission. 7. Adjourn. NOTE: Enumerated agenda items are assigned numbers for ease of reference only and will not necessarily be considered by the Commission in that order.
