Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Agenda

CITY OF SANDY OAKS PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING AGENDA February 15, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. Notice is hereby given that the City of Sandy Oaks Planning & Zoning Commission (“Commission”) will hold a meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at Sandy Oaks City Hall located at 22870 Priest Road, Sandy Oaks, Texas 78112 where a quorum of the Commission will meet for the purpose of considering the agenda items as provided below. All agenda items are subject to action. The public will be permitted to offer public comments as provided below and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting by signing up with the Chair at least 15 minutes in advance of the meeting. Written comments may be submitted to the Chair up two hours before the meeting by emailing pzcommissioner@cityofsandyoaks.com and will be provided to the Commission for their consideration. A recording of the telephonic meeting will be made and will be available to the public in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act upon written request. 1. Call to order and quorum call. 2. Pledge of Allegiance. 3. Citizens to be heard. Members of the public may address the Commission at this time by signing up with the Chair as indicated above. Each speaker is allowed three (3) minutes to speak. One person may speak on behalf of a group. Up to three (3) persons may register on behalf of the group in order for the spokesperson to be allotted up to nine (9) minutes to speak. 4. Consideration and approval of minutes from August 17, 2023 Commission meeting. 5. Workshop to discuss Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and procedures and/or the proposed Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Sandy Oaks and/or take possible action on the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and procedures and/or the proposed Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance. 6. Adjourn. NOTE: Enumerated agenda items are assigned numbers for ease of reference only and will not necessarily be considered by the Commission in that order. I certify that the above notice of meeting was posted at City Hall and on the City of Sandy Oaks website on the 12th day of February 2024 at 6:30 p.m. and notice remained posted continuously for at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
