For assistance, please call (801) 568-7141. 4:30 Dinner 5:15 Work Session Council Photo Agenda Planning Calendar Review Chris McCandless reviewed the Calendar Council Member Business Scott Cowdell met with a gentleman with Outreach. looking for placres to drop off food for people to meet and collect. Looking for locations to drop up food and places in the city. mayor southvalley pantry was the location. admin will follow up on this. could be helping hands. scott will get info scott cowdell asked for an update on the 90th south project. Chris mccandless staff has been working to get udot to hold a meeting. Mayor dolan noted that the admin has also spoke with udot. Sandy City, Utah Page 1 Printed on 10/31/2017 City Council Meeting Minutes September 19, 2017 Stephen Smith concerned about hte process that was followed on mrs nicholl request for a rezone. he is concerned that the process was not followed. it makes it difficult for the administration to follow and we should either have a policy and follow or resend the policy. Stephen Smith he has been meeting with staff regarding on ways to make the amphitheater more self sustainable. he will be bringing back some proposals the chair asked him to prepare for the budget retreat. he discussed the lobbying efforts. mayor and other members have presented information and contracts. He is concerned that the council does not know the positions of issues that the lobbyist is taking. he would like discussion on bills and issues the city is facing to understand the efforts of the city. a lengthy discussion was held on one of the council's policy. Motion Cm attended the Hale Center Committee meeting. grateful to sandy for what they have done. He presented a letter from the committee. cm asked mr sorensen a question on the housing stock.
