CITY OF SANSOM PARK City Council Meeting Agenda Regular Session – 7:00 p.m. April 7, 2022 The Sansom Park City Council will hold a Regular Session at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 5705 Azle Avenue, Sansom Park, Texas on Thursday, April 7, 2022. This meeting is open to the public and subject to the Open Meeting Act. Pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the Council may convene an Executive Session at any time during the meeting as deemed necessary to obtain advice from the City Attorney regarding any posted agenda item. REGULAR SESSION – 7:00 P.M. I. CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL Call to order and announce a quorum is present. II. INVOCATION III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE IV. PUBLIC INPUT The City Council invites citizens to speak on any topic. However, unless the item is specifically noted on this agenda, the City Council is required under the Texas Open Meetings Act to limit its response to responding with a statement of specific factual information, reciting the City’s existing policy, or directing the person making the inquiry to visit with City Staff about the issue. No Council deliberation is permitted. Each person will have 3 minutes to speak. V. MAYOR AND COUNCIL REPORTS, PRESENTATIONS AND PROCLAMATIONS Mayor and Council to Proclaim the Week of May 15-21, 2022 as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week in the City of Sansom Park. VI. CONSENT AGENDA Items on the Consent Agenda are routine and administrative in nature. As such, these items are considered for approval by a single motion and vote without discussion. Council Members can remove an item or items from the agenda, so it can be considered separately, and/or add any item to be considered as part of the Consent Agenda. 1. Consider approval of the special called meeting minutes held on March 3, 2022, as presented. 2. Review and accept the Quarterly Investment Report for the 1st Quarter ending December 31, 2021. VII. NEW BUSINESS 1. Receive the presentation of the annual audit for FY2020-2021 from Mike Brooks with Brooks Watson and Co. and consider approval of audit. 2. Discuss and consider approval of Case No. RP22-01 a Replat of Lot 1 and Lot 2, Block 11, Sansom Park Addition, more commonly known as 5721 and 5725 Terrace Trail in order to combine them into one lot, Lot 1R, Block 11, Sansom Park Addition. Discuss and consider approval of Case No. RP 22-02 a Replat for Sansom Park Addition, Block 12, Lot 2, and Block 12, Lot 3, into Lots 2R and 3R, Block 12, Sansom Park Addition more commonly known as 5823 and 5825 Terrace Trail. 4. Discuss and consider approval and adoption of Resolution No. 1091-22 a Resolution of the City of Sansom Park declaring certain property as surplus to the city’s needs; authorizing its auction with Lonestar Auctioneers; providing an effective date. 5. Discuss and consider approval and adoption of Resolution No. 1092-22 a Resolution of the City of Sansom Park declaring certain property as surplus to the city’s needs; authorizing its donation; providing an effective date. 6. Discuss and consider approval and adoption of Resolution No. 1093-22 a Resolution of the City of Sansom Park authorizing the trade of certain personal property with Superior Outfitters; providing an effective date. 7. Discuss and consider approval and adoption of Resolution No. 1094-22 a Resolution of the City Council of the City Sansom Park, Texas adopting a policy for police academy training and reimbursement of expenses for certain Sansom Park Police Department recruits; and providing an effective date. VIII.
