Please follow the guidelines below when participating in a Zoom Webinar: - The meeting will be recorded so you must choose 'continue’ to accept and stay in the meeting. - If there is an option to change the phone number to your name when you enter the meeting, please do so as your name will be visible online and will be used to notify you that it is your turn to speak. - Mute all other audio before speaking. Items listed on the Consent Calendar with associated file numbers constitute Public Hearing items. 1.A 21-996 Action on a 1,278 square-foot first and second floor addition, interior remodel, and a 120 square-foot garage addition to an existing single-family residence at 579 Meadow Avenue Recommendation: Approve the proposed interior remodel, 16 square feet first floor and a 1,262 square feet second floor addition, 120 square-foot garage addition and a 21 square-foot porch addition to an existing 1,464 square feet three-bedroom, two-bathroom single-story residence with a 426 square-foot garage resulting in a 2,742 square feet five-bedroom, four and a half bathroom two-story residence with 546 square-foot garage and 21 square-foot porch for the property located at 579 Meadow Avenue, subject to conditions. 1.B 21-1068 Action on the proposed remodel and addition with a new Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) at 3472 Elmhurst Avenue Recommendation: Approve the interior remodel, 645 square-foot addition and 518 square-foot attached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) to create a 2,883 square-foot one-story residence with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two car-car garage and an attached ADU, subject to conditions. City of Santa Clara Page 2 of 4 Printed on 8/11/2021 Development Review Hearing Meeting Agenda August 18, 2021 2. 21-761 Action on a 562 square-foot one-story addition to an existing 1,279 square-foot one-story home, conversion of the existing 273 square-foot one-car garage to living space, addition of a 598 square-foot attached two-car garage, and addition of a 767 square-foot attached second-story Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) at 1943 De La Pena Avenue Recommendation: Approve the proposed 562 square -foot one-story addition to an existing 1,279 square -foot one-story home, conversion of the existing 273 square -foot one-car garage to living space, addition of a 598 square-foot attached two-car garage, and addition of a 767 square-foot attached second-story Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) at 1943 De La Pena Avenue, subject to two design modifications and conditions of approval. 3. 21-997 Adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and Mitigation Monitoring or Reporting Program (MMRP) and action on AB 3194 proposal for the proposed six three-story townhomes and two detached, two-story single-family homes at 1530 and 1540 Pomeroy Avenue Recommendation: Adopt the MND and MMRP for this project and Approve the architectural review of the proposed six three-story townhomes and two detached, two-story single-family homes at 1530 and 1540 Pomeroy Avenue per AB 3194, subject to conditions. Under Section 1094.6, any lawsuit or legal challenge to any quasi-adjudicative decision made by the City must be filed no later than the 90th day following the date on which such decision becomes final. Any lawsuit or legal challenge, which is not filed within that 90-day period, will be barred. If a person wishes to challenge the nature of the above section in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Santa Clara, at or prior to the meeting. In addition, judicial challenge may be limited or barred where the interested party has not sought and exhausted all available administrative remedies. If a member of the public submits a speaker card for any agenda items, their name will appear in the Minutes. If no speaker card is submitted, the Minutes will reflect "Public Speaker."
