Recommendation: Approve an exterior renovation of an existing industrial building; site work includes tree removal, resurfacing and restriping of the parking lot, and a tree replacement and landscape plan for the property located at 2900 Semiconductor Drive, subject to conditions. GENERAL BUSINESS The following items from this Development Review Hearing agenda will be scheduled for further review following the conclusion of hearings and recommendations by the Development Review Hearing. Please contact the Planning Division office for information on the schedule of hearings for these items. 2. 22-329 Action on a 315 square-foot first floor addition and a 631 square-foot second floor addition to an existing one-story single-family residence at 2179 Stebbins Avenue Recommendation: Redesign the proposed 315 square-foot first floor addition and a 631 square-foot second floor addition to the existing one-story residence to be consistent with the City’s Single-Family Design Guidelines, by providing the following step backs; second-floor areas set back at least five feet from the front wall of the first floor, and three to five feet from the side and rear walls of the first floor. Recommendation: Approve the proposed 381 square-foot first floor expansion and 617 square-foot second story addition to an existing 2,823 square-foot two story residence at 2698 Gamblin Drive, subject to conditions. 4. 22-345 Action on a 401 square-foot first floor and 818 square-foot second story addition with front patio and rear second floor patios to an existing 1,843 square-foot single-family residence at 156 Claremont Street. Recommendation: Approve the proposed 401 square-foot first floor and 818 square-foot second story addition with front and rear second floor patios to an existing 1,843 square-foot single-family residence located at 156 Claremont Street. 5. 22-351 Action on a 415 square-foot first floor expansion and 1,419 square-foot second story addition to an existing 1,800 square-foot, two-story residence located at 3641 Randolph Avenue. Recommendation: Approve the proposed 415 square-foot first floor expansion and 1,419 square-foot second story addition to an existing 1,800 square-foot, two story residence at 3641 Randolph Avenue, subject to conditions. ADJOURNMENT The next regular scheduled meeting is on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 3 p.m. City of Santa Clara Page 3 of 4 Printed on 3/10/2022 Development Review Hearing Meeting Agenda March 16, 2022 The time limit within which to commence any lawsuit or legal challenge to any quasi-adjudicative decision made by the City is governed by Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure, unless a shorter limitation period is specified by any other provision. Under Section 1094.6, any lawsuit or legal challenge to any quasi-adjudicative decision made by the City must be filed no later than the 90th day following the date on which such decision becomes final. Any lawsuit or legal challenge, which is not filed within that 90-day period, will be barred. If a person wishes to challenge the nature of the above section in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Santa Clara, at or prior to the meeting. In addition, judicial challenge may be limited or barred where the interested party has not sought and exhausted all available administrative remedies. If a member of the public submits a speaker card for any agenda items, their name will appear in the Minutes. If no speaker card is submitted, the Minutes will reflect "Public Speaker."
