City of Santa Clara Page 2 of 5 Printed on 8/9/2023 Development Review Hearing Meeting Agenda August 16, 2023 1.A 23-926 Action on a Proposed 546 Square-Foot Attached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) for the Property Located at 1785 Hogan Drive (CEQA: Exempt, Section 15301(e) (3) New Construction or Conversion of Small Structure) Recommendation: Determine the project to be exempt from CEQA pursuant to Section 15301(e) (3) (New Construction or Conversion of Small Structure) of the CEQA guidelines and Approve the 546 square-foot attached accessory dwelling unit (ADU) at 1785 Hogan Drive, subject to the findings and conditions of approval. 1.B 23-945 Action on a Proposed First Floor Addition to an Existing Two-Story Single-Family Residence Resulting in a 3,857 Square Foot Home at 3684 Londonderry Drive (CEQA: Class 1 Categorical Exemption 15301(e)(1), Existing Facilities) Recommendation: Determine the project to be Categorical Exempt pursuant to CEQA (Class 1) 15301(e)(2)-Existing Facilities and Approve the Architectural Review of a 1,131 sq.ft. first floor addition to an existing four bedroom / three bathroom two-story single family residence resulting in five bedroom / four two-story home with 3,413 sq.ft. of living area with attached a 444 sq.ft. two-car garage to remain, subject to the findings and conditions of approval. GENERAL BUSINESS The following items from this Development Review Hearing agenda will be scheduled for further review following the conclusion of hearings and recommendations by the Development Review Hearing. Please contact the Planning Division office for information on the schedule of hearings for these items. 2. 23-760 Adoption of a Mitigated Declaration (MND) and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) and Action on Architectural Review for the Demolition of an Existing Commercial Building and the Construction of 22 Townhouse Units in Four, Three-Story Buildings Consistent with Assembly Bill (AB) 3194 Located at 3378-3386 El Camino Real Recommendation: Adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP) based on findings and approve the Architectural Review for the demolition of an existing commercial building and construction of 22 townhouse units in four, three-story buildings consistent with AB 3194 located at 3378-3386 El Camino Real, subject to findings and conditions of approval. Under Section 1094.6, any lawsuit or legal challenge to any quasi-adjudicative decision made by the City must be filed no later than the 90th day following the date on which such decision becomes final. Any lawsuit or legal challenge, which is not filed within that 90-day period, will be barred. If a person wishes to challenge the nature of the above section in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Santa Clara, at or prior to the meeting. In addition, judicial challenge may be limited or barred where the interested party has not sought and exhausted all available administrative remedies. If a member of the public submits a speaker card for any agenda items, their name will appear in the Minutes. If no speaker card is submitted, the Minutes will reflect "Public Speaker."
