City of Santa Clara Page 1 of 3 Printed on 6/21/2024 Senior Advisory Commission Meeting Agenda June 24, 2024 3. 24-573 Review the 2017 Senior Needs Assessment, Provide Input on Survey Content and Develop an Outreach Plan to Conduct a New Community Survey in 2024 Recommendation: Review the Senior Needs Assessment and provide feedback on content and outreach efforts to be incorporated into the development of a 2024 survey. 4. 24-572 Discussion and Action to Recommend Council Adoption of a Resolution to Change the Meeting Schedule of the Senior Advisory Commission for FY 2024/25 and Calendar Year 2025 from the Fourth Monday of the Month at 10 a.m. to Third Monday of the month at 5 p.m. Recommendation: 1. Review the proposed resolution, together with the proposed calendar of meetings, and take action on whether to forward a recommendation to City Council for approval of a resolution to amend the Senior Advisory meeting schedule and calendar. 2. Under Section 1094.6, any lawsuit or legal challenge to any quasi-adjudicative decision made by the City must be filed no later than the 90th day following the date on which such decision becomes final. Any lawsuit or legal challenge, which is not filed within that 90-day period, will be barred. If a person wishes to challenge the nature of the above section in court, they may be limited to raising only those issues they or someone else raised at the meeting described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City of Santa Clara, at or prior to the meeting. In addition, judicial challenge may be limited or barred where the interested party has not sought and exhausted all available administrative remedies. If a member of the public submits a speaker card for any agenda items, their name will appear in the Minutes. If no speaker card is submitted, the Minutes will reflect "Public Speaker."
