Regular Meeting of the Airport Advisory Board August 14, 2025 at 4:00 PM Santa Fe Regional Airport Administrative Building 121 Aviation Drive, Santa Fe MINUTES 1. Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 4:04 p.m. 2. Approval of 08/14/2025 Airport Advisory Meeting Agenda. MOTION A motion was made by DeHaven, seconded by Limbacher, to Approve. VOTE The motion on a voice vote. 4. Approval of Minutes a. Approval of Minutes from 02/13/2025 Airport Advisory Board Meeting. MOTION A motion was made by Thompson, seconded by Limbacher, to Approve. VOTE The motion on a voice vote. 5. Communications From the Public 6. Presentations 7. Old Business a. Aiport Updates. (Jimmy Gunn, Interim Airport Director/Airprot Security Manager, jdgunn@santafenm.gov) Below is a summary of Airport updates given by Jimmy Gunn. 1. Airport Staffing: Security positions will be fully staffed by the end of August 2025, that includes 6 security officers and 2 security officer supervisors. A grants administrator was hired to help with grants at the Airport. 2. Leases, Concessions & Fees: A third office for rental car companies is now being offered at the airport which will increase concession fees paid to the airport. The Airport is looking into revenue from digital advertising. An RFP for a gift shop is still in process. 3. Grant projects: There are various grant projects happening at SAF right now. Those projects include the Airport Master Plan, Phase I for the N apron design, and the terminal apron reconstruction project. 4. New Destinations: LAX Service starts October 4th 2025 // JSX flight is in effect from SAF - DAL // More activity from KAFB military aircraft expected. 5.
