Henry Lynch Road Reconstruction and Roundabout Project 2. Project Address a. Henry Lynch Road between Rufina St and Agua Fria St 3. Description a. The proposed project will reconstruct Henry Lynch Road from Rufina Street to Agua Fria Street to address critical safety deficiencies, improve multimodal access, and enhance overall corridor functionality. Improvements include construction of two 10-foot travel lanes designed to calm traffic while maintaining efficient vehicle movement, ADA-compliant sidewalks on both sides of the roadway to ensure accessibility for all users, and separated bicycle lanes to provide safe and dedicated space for cyclists. The project will also install curb and gutter and implement comprehensive stormwater drainage improvements to mitigate flooding, reduce roadway deterioration, and increase infrastructure resilience during storm events. A roundabout will be constructed at the intersection of Agua Fria Street and Henry Lynch Road to improve traffic operations and significantly reduce vehicle conflict points. The roundabout will enhance safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists while supporting long- term operational efficiency. Collectively, these improvements will transform the corridor into a safer, multimodal facility that supports connectivity to surrounding neighborhoods, schools, and businesses.
