Approval of 8/19 minutes MOTION A motion was made by Member Haozous, seconded by Chair Schnell, to approve the minutes. VOTE The motion Passed on a voice vote. 5. Presentations a. Interfaith Community Shelter program updates Grantee updates provided by Interfaith Community Shelter. b. Esperanza Shelter program updates Grantee updates provided by Esperanza Shelter. 6. Action Items a. Human Services Committee new member recommendations MOTION A motion was made by Member Romero, seconded by Vice Chair Baldwin, to approve the member appointments as presented. VOTE The motion Passed on a voice vote. b. 2026 Human Services Committee meeting calendar MOTION A motion was made by Member Tunney, seconded by Vice Chair Baldwin, to approve the 2026 meeting calendar. VOTE The motion Passed on a voice vote.  c. Allocating carryforward funding MOTION A motion was made by Chair Schnell, seconded by Member Haozous, to approve the carryforward fund allocation as approved. VOTE The motion Passed on a voice vote. 7. Discussion Items 8. Matters from Staff a. Introduction of new Division Director Lia Salaverry was introduced as the new Youth and Family Services Division Director. 9. Matters from the Committee 10. Matters from the Chair a.
