Regular Meeting of the Human Services Committee December 16, 2025 at 3:00 PM Meeting Virtually MINUTES 1. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 3:05pm. 2. Roll Call 3. Approval of Agenda a. Approval of 12/16 agenda MOTION A motion was made by Member Haozous, seconded by Member Tunney, to approve the agenda as presented. VOTE The motion Passed on a voice vote. 4. Approval of Minutes a. Approval of 10/21 minutes MOTION A motion was made by Vice-Chair Baldwin, seconded by Member Haozous, to approve the minutes. VOTE The motion Passed on a voice vote. 5. Action Items a. Member updates MOTION A motion was made by Vice-Chair Baldwin, seconded by Member Romero, to re-post the Human Services Committee member vacancy press release and re- interview one of the previously interviewed applicants. VOTE The motion Passed on a voice vote. 6. Discussion Items a. Esperanza Shelter site visit updates The Human Services Committee will draft and send a letter to Esperanza Shelter to request a meeting in the spring of 2026 to be updated on the status of the contract, deliverables and 501c3 status. 7. Matters from Staff a. Small grant updates One additional grantee was awarded funding. The deadline to submit a small grant application is 1/23. 8. Presentations a. Farewell and Thank you!
