PUBLIC COMMENTS Chair Baumgartner opened and closed Public Comment at 3:31 p.m. 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 4.1 March 4, 2024 - Draft Minutes Approved as submitted. 5. SCHEDULED ITEMS 5.1 Election of Vice Chair Per Council Policy 000-42 “Public Art”, the Vice Chair shall be elected by the APPC members on an annual basis. Recommended Action: Election of Vice Chair A motion was made by Vice-Chair Kiefer, seconded by Committee Member Puentes, to nominate Kristin Kiefer as Vice Chair. Committee Members provided comments and feedback. A motion was made by Committee Member Nathanson, seconded by Vice-Chair Kiefer, approving item 5.2 Friends of the Prince Memorial Greenway: artwork design. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Chair Baumgartner, Committee Member Azhderian, Committee Member Faulkner, Committee Member Kiefer, Committee Member Nathanson, Committee Member Puentes and Committee Member Steward 5.3 Fire Station 5 Public Art Project: Recommended Artist Staff will present the recommended artist identified through a comprehensive selection process. The presentation will include background and information on project development, goals, timeline, budget, selection process, and selection criteria. Recommended Action: Approve recommended artist.
