1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Chair Badenfort called the virtual meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
Present 7 - Chair Kim Badenfort, Vice Chair Elizabeth Ridlington, Board Member
Christine Dektor, Board Member Tony Geraldi, Board Member

3. COMMENTS ON THE AGENDA BY BOARD MEMBERS

4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
4.1 July 15, 2021 Regular Meeting Minutes
A motion was made by Board Member Narath, seconded by Vice Chair
Ridlington, approved as amended: New Board Member Schwarz had not
yet been appointed at the time of the meeting and, therefore, should not be
noted as absent from the meeting. The motion carried by the following
vote:
Yes: 5 - Chair Badenfort, Vice Chair Ridlington, Board Member Finn, Board
Member Narath and Board Member Schwarz
Absent: 1 - Board Member McKenzie
Abstain: 2 - Board Member Dektor and Board Member Geraldi
5. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA MATTERS
Eris Weaver, Executive Director of the Sonoma County Bicycle
Coalition, commented on traffic safety items at the State legislature
and urged the Board to lend support to the Governor, and had

questions and comments about a few current City projects, and
spoke about construction debris being left in the bike lanes.
Dylan Pringle commented on the culture of vehicles and bicycles
and high schools, and on the Ridgway Avenue project.
6. REPORT ITEMS
The report items were re-ordered with Item 6.2 being presented
first, followed by Item 6.1, then 6.3.
6.1 REPORT - Fiscal Year 2022/2023 Transportation and Public Works
Work Plan Preview
BACKGROUND: The Board will consider the draft Fiscal Year
2022/2023 Transportation and Public Works (TPW) Work Plan for
bicycle and pedestrian projects and studies.
RECOMMENDATION: No action is required.

Eris Weaver provided comments.

6.2 REPORT - Highway 101 Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing Design
Options For Touchdowns - Update
BACKGROUND: The Board may provide input and feedback on the
design options being prepared for the Highway 101 Bicycle and
Pedestrian Overcrossing touchdowns ramps at Edwards Avenue and
Elliott Avenue.
RECOMMENDATION: This item is for Board discussion. No action is
required.
PUBLIC COMMENTS

6.3 REPORT - Local Road Safety Plan Update
BACKGROUND: Staff will provide an update and seek feedback on

several corridor studies currently underway as part of the City’s Local
Road Safety Plan development.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff will welcome feedback on the conceptual
layouts for each of the corridors. This item is for Board discussion. No
action is required.
