CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Chair Badenfort called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. (Board Member McKenzie attended remotely) Present 7 - Chair Kim Badenfort, Vice Chair Elizabeth Ridlington, Board Member Emily Warne, Board Member Doug McKenzie, Board Member Dylan Prindle, Board Member Tanya Narath, and Board Member Paul Schwarz 2. STATEMENTS OF ABSTENTION BY BOARD MEMBERS Board Member Schwarz abstained from Item 4.1. 3. COMMENTS ON AGENDA ITEMS BY BOARD MEMBERS None. 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 4.1 August 17, 2023 Regular Meeting Minutes. A motion was made by Vice Chair Ridlington, seconded by Board Member Narath, approved as submitted. The motion carried by the following vote. Yes: 6 - Chair Badenfort, Vice Chair Ridlington, Board Member Warne, Board Member McKenzie, Board Member Prindle and Board Member Narath Abstain: 1 - Board Member Schwarz 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA MATTERS Eris Weaver, spoke about the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition's Golden Spoke Award Gala, Walk and Roll to School Day activities, the monthly smart cycling class and the First Annual Bike Advocacy Summit. 6. REPORT ITEMS City of Santa Rosa Regular Meeting Minutes Page 2 of 3 Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Regular Meeting Minutes - Final September 21, 2023 Board 6.1 REPORT - Active Transportation Plan Vision, Goals, and Draft Scope of Work BACKGROUND: Staff will update the Board on progress towards the Active Transportation Plan, solicit comment on the draft Scope of Work, and seek feedback to inform the plan’s vision and goals. RECOMMENDATION: Provide input on the proposed Active Transportation Plan draft Scope of Work and provide direction to inform drafting of the vision and goals. RECOMMENDATION: No action required. Board may provide input on the draft Transportation and Public Works Work Plan. STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS - The project list web page is an easy way to see where current and future projects are happening. - Shared scooter vendor Bird is discontinuing their service in Santa Rosa. Staff is planning on looking at other vendors. - The Bicycle Friendly Community application was submitted and a survey is available to take to help us achieve gold.
