CONSENT ITEMS 11.1 RESOLUTION - INTERAGENCY MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING/AGREEMENTS WITH SCHOOL DISTRICTS SERVING THE GREATER SANTA ROSA AREA RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Police Department that the Council, by resolution, authorize the Chief of Police, or his/her designee, to negotiate, approve and execute Interagency Memorandums of Understanding/Agreements to allow operation of Police Department programs on school campuses, as well as all amendments with School Districts serving the greater Santa Rosa area, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney. Attachments Ordinance 11.9 ORDINANCE ADOPTION - REVISED 2014 WASTEWATER DEMAND FEES RECOMMENDATION: This ordinance, introduced at the August 26, 2014, Regular Meeting by a unanimous vote, amends Santa Rosa City Code Title 15 (Sewers) to adopt revised wastewater demand fees, re-adopt the annual escalator, and make related revisions to the City Code. RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the City Manager and the City’s Negotiating Team that the Council, by resolution, adopt the Memorandum of Understanding for and on behalf of the City’s Unit 5 - Police Officers, represented by the Santa Rosa Police Officers Association. This agreement will be effective September 9, 2014 and will end on June 30, 2017. It is further recommended that Council authorize the Mayor to execute the Memorandum of Understanding for and on behalf of the City’s Unit 5 - Police Officers, represented by the Santa Rosa Police Officers City of Santa Rosa Regular Meeting Agenda and Summary Report Page 8 of 9 CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 9, 2014 Association for the period of September 9, 2014 through June 30, 2017.
