1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Mayor Coursey called the Special Closed Session meeting to order at
8:33 a.m.
Present: 6 - Mayor Chris Coursey, Vice Mayor Jack Tibbetts, Council Member
Ernesto Olivares, Council Member Chris Rogers, Council Member
John Sawyer and Council Member Tom Schwedhelm
Absent: 1 - Council Member Julie Combs
2. PUBLIC COMMENT (PUBLIC COMMENT IS LIMITED TO ITEMS WHICH
ARE THE SUBJECT OF THE SPECIAL MEETING)
No member of the public was present.
3. ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
Mayor Coursey recessed the Special Closed Session meeting at 8:36
a.m. to discuss Item 3.1 as listed on the agenda:
3.1 PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT
(Government Code Section 54957)
Title: City Attorney
Mayor Coursey recessed the Special Closed Session meeting at 12:00
p.m. and reconvened the Special Closed Session meeting at 12:40 p.m.
All Council Members were present with the exception of Council Member
Combs.
Vice Mayor Tibbetts left the Special Closed Session meeting at 3:30 p.m.
Council Member Combs joined the Special Closed Session meeting at
3:40 p.m.

Council Member Rogers left the Special Closed Session meeting at
4:21 p.m.
4. REPORT, IF ANY, ON CLOSED SESSION
There was nothing to report.
5. ADJOURNMENT OF SPECIAL MEETING
Mayor Coursey adjourned the Special Closed Session meeting at 4:45
p.m. The next regularly scheduled meeting will take place on February
28, 2017.
