CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL Mayor Coursey called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Present: 6 - Mayor Chris Coursey, Vice Mayor Jack Tibbetts, Council Member Julie Combs, Council Member Chris Rogers, Council Member John Sawyer and Council Member Tom Schwedhelm Absent: 1 - Council Member Ernesto Olivares 2. REPORT ITEMS RESOLUTION - RATIFICATION OF FORMAL REQUEST FOR DIRECT ASSISTANCE FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO REMOVE HAZARDOUS WASTES AND DEBRIS FROM PROPERTY SITES WITHIN THE SONOMA FIRE COMPLEX BURN AREA On October 15, 2017 the City Manager, in his capacity as Director of Emergency Services, formally requested direct assistance from the State of California to remove hazardous wastes and debris from the property sites within the Sonoma Complex Fire burn area. It is recommended that Council, by resolution, ratify that formal request for direct assistance from the State of California. ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING Hearing no further business, Mayor Coursey adjourned the Special Meeting at 9:45 a.m. The next Regular Meeting of the City Council will be held on October 24, 2017, at a time to be set by the Mayor.
