STAFF BRIEFINGS 8.1 FEMA FLOOD RISK MAPPING PROJECT FOR THE SANTA ROSA CREEK WATERSHED Staff will present the latest update on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Santa Rosa Creek Watershed Flood Risk Mapping Project. The multi-year FEMA project will map high-risk flood areas in the Watershed. No action will be taken except for possible direction to staff. On September 14, 2023, the Planning Commission voted 5-2 to uphold the Director’s decision.
