3. DEPARTMENT REPORTS
This time is reserved for City staff to provide a briefing on issues of interest.
No action will be taken on these matters except to possibly place a particular
item on a future agenda for consideration.
4. NEW BUSINESS
4.1 DROUGHT UPDATE
Staff will provide an update on Santa Rosa Water’s existing drought
response and associated activities. This item is provided for information
only.

4.2 FRAMEWORK OF THE ZERO-EMISSION ROLLOUT PLAN: CITYBUS
ROUTE TO 100% LOCAL RENEWABLE POWERED OPERATIONS
The City of Santa Rosa Transit Division (CityBus) began planning for
the electrification of our bus fleet in 2018. With preliminary planning
and funding in place, CityBus will provide a timeline when we will begin
operating Santa Rosa’s first battery electric bus with accompanying
charging infrastructure. CityBus will present a framework for our Zero
Emission Rollout Plan as required by CARB to meet the Innovative
Clean Transit Rule of having a zero emissions bus fleet by 2040. Staff
will provide an estimated timeline for future Council items related to
continued bus electrification.
