6.3 ISSUES OF CONCERN TO CITY RESIDENTS
Vice Chair Weeks has noticed an alarmingly high rate of people who are not
paying much attention to people crossing the street, and he has been almost hit
several times in just the past couple of months.
He would like the city to invest more heavily in crosswalks that have blinking
signs.
Member Inocencio wanted to echo the importance of crosswalks. The
crosswalk on Corby Avenue specifically over Colgan Creek does not have a
crosswalk. So people have to walk directly into the street and make themselves
narrow which is not safe for members of that community.
