CHAIRPERSON/ COMMISSIONER REPORTS Chair Test reported on a site visit on April 26, 2022, offered by Burbank Housing at Caritas Homes, and an additional site visit on May 3, 2022, offered by Burbank Housing at the former Journey's End mobile home park. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORTS/ COMMUNICATION ITEMS: Megan Basinger, Executive Director Housing and Community Services, commented upon the status of multiple projects including Athena House, Journey's End Stage 2, the Cannery at Railroad Square, Mahonia Glenn, and introduced item 10.1. 10.1 COMMUNICATION - PENDING DEVELOPMENT PIPELINE UPDATE Provided for information. REPORT ITEMS Megan Basinger, Executive Director Housing and Community Services, introduced item 12.1. 12.1 REPORT - 2022 HOUSING AUTHORITY PLANNING DAY City of Santa Rosa Regular Meeting Minutes Page 3 of 3 Housing Authority Regular Meeting Minutes - Final May 23, 2022 BACKGROUND: The Authority held its first Planning Day in 2015 and convened the second in 2018. The Chair and members of the Authority have expressed interest in convening a third Planning Day, to allow discussion of their vision and interests for the future. A 2022 Planning Day will allow Commissioners and staff to discuss their vision and goals to ensure alignment with City Council Goals and Priorities. RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended by the Housing and Community Services Department that the Housing Authority, by motion, discuss interest in a 2022 Planning Day and form an Ad Hoc Committee to coordinate the 2022 Housing Authority Planning Day. Chair Test appointed Commissioner Downey, Commissioner McWhorter and Commissioner Burke to the Ad Hoc Committee. As clarified by the City Attorney and Clerk, this action did not require a motion or vote. Public Comments: None 13.
