1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm
Present 3 - Chair Eddie Alvarez, Jeff Okrepkie, and Victoria Fleming
2. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Public comment:
Gregory Fearon made public comment to welcome the new
members.
3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
November 14, 2022 Special Meeting Minutes.
A motion was made by Chair Alvarez to approve the minutes from
November with no objection from Council Member Fleming or Council
Member Okrepkie.
4. SCHEDULED ITEMS
4.1 PRESENTATION - OPEN GOVERNMENT AND COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT OVERVIEW
Danielle Garduno presented to the subcommittee the history of the
open government work in Santa Rosa.
Members discussed the future of the subcommittee and decided
that direction from the Mayor is needed to move forward.
Public Comment:
Gregory Fearon made public comment for the subcommittee to
review the Open Governments Task Force original report to see if
there is anything from the report that has not been addressed.

5. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
Members of the Subcommittee agreed to review the Open
Government Task Force's original report as well as to have Chair
Alvarez to discuss with the Mayor the future direction for this
subcommittee.
6. ADJOURNMENT
Meeting adjourned at 6:22 pm

This is the time when any person may address matters not listed on this
agenda, but which are within the subject matter of the jurisdiction. The public
may comment on agenda items when the item is called. Public Comment may
be made live during the meeting in person and via ZOOM. Each speaker is
allowed three minutes. Public comments may also be submitted by 5:00 pm,
the Friday before the Subcommittee Meeting via e-mail at
communityengagement@srcity.org. Email public comments will be provided to
all Subcommittee members prior to the meeting.

Staff will provide an overview of the Open Government Task Force
Implementation Subcommittee, including background and history of open
government work in Santa Rosa.
5. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
This schedule is tentative and subject to change pending final publication and
posting of the Meeting Agenda. This time is reserved for discussion whether
to place matters on a future agenda for further discussion.
