Exempt Project - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - 1236 CLEVELAND
AVE - CUP20-074
BACKGROUND: A new wireless communication facility that includes a
new 83-foot monopine telecommunications tower and 24ft x 37ft (888)
square-foot fenced area with six-foot fencing around. The project
includes the removal and relocation of the current telecommunications
facility at 135 Ridgway Ave. The project is eligible for California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Class 3 Categorical Exemption.

The Applicant and team presented and responded to Commissioner
inquiries.
Commissioner Weeks opened and closed the Public Hearing at
4:41 p.m.
Staff responded to Commissioner inquiries.
The Planning Commission requested the Design Review board
condition a maintenance agreement into the projects Design Review
at the July 1, 2021 Design Review Board meeting.
A motion was made by Commissioner Duggan, seconded by
Commissioner Kalia, to waive reading of the text and adopt:

9.2* PUBLIC HEARING - SPRING LAKE VILLAGE EAST GROVE DRAFT
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PUBLIC HEARING - FILE
NUMBER MJP14-012
BACKGROUND: This Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR)
evaluates the potential impacts of the proposed Spring Lake Village
East Grove project. The project includes the development of a
7.28-acre site with 32 independent senior living units, in addition to a
community building, outdoor common areas, and parking.
The Spring Lake Village East Grove Draft EIR was released for public
review on June 1, 2021, and is available for review to the public and
interested agencies for a period of 45 days, which closes on July 15,
2021. The purpose of the review period and this public hearing is to
obtain comments, “on the sufficiency of the document in identifying and
analyzing the possible impacts on the environment and ways in which
the significant effects of the project might be avoided and mitigated”
(Section 15204, CEQA Guidelines).

Chair Weeks closed the Public Hearing at 5:33 p.m.
Staff and the consultant responded to Commissioner inquiries and
collected their comments.
