Chair Weeks called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.

4.1 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
Chair Weeks read aloud the Statement of Purpose.
4.2 COMMISSIONER REPORTS
Chair Weeks shared that the Santa Rosa Merit Awards season is
now open. Nominations can be submitted via City's website at
https://srcity.org/1241/City-Merit-Awards.

8.1 STUDY SESSION - 2021 GENERAL PLAN, INCLUSIONARY
HOUSING, AND GROWTH MANAGEMENT ANNUAL REVIEW
REPORT
BACKGROUND: The General Plan Annual Review will provide an
overview of progress made in 2021 toward achieving General Plan
goals, policies, and implementation measures. The Report also reviews
the 2021 implementation of the Growth Management and Inclusionary
Housing Ordinances as required by City Code.
PRESENTING PLANNER: Amy Nicholson
Amy Nicholson, Senior Planner, presented.
Chair Weeks opened and closed the Public Comment period at
5:13 p.m.
Planner Nicholson responded to Commissioner inquiries.
The Commission provided comments and feedback.
A motion was made by Commissioner Cisco, seconded by Vice Chair
Peterson, that this Planning Commission item be received and forwarded to
Council.

4.1 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The Planning Commission is charged with carrying out the California
Planning and Zoning Laws in the City of Santa Rosa. Duties include
implementing of plans, ordinances and policies relating to land use
matters; assisting in writing and implementing the General Plan and area
plans; holding public hearings and acting on proposed changes to the
Zoning Code, Zoning Map, General Plan, tentative subdivision maps, and
undertaking special planning studies as needed.
