POTENTIAL ACTION ON MAKING A STATEMENT REGARDING
PRIORITIZATION AND FUNDING OF IMPROVEMENTS
Chair Rabinowitsh’s suggested language for discussion: The
Waterways Advisory Committee has begun discussions regarding how
to improve the condition of the Prince Memorial Greenway. The
Committee will work with staff to evaluate the existing situation and
come up with more specific funding needed in the future. We bring up
this budget need to let the Council know during your city goals and
budget process that funds will be needed to improve conditions of the
Greenway. We ask the Council to consider this need during your
budget discussions. We will make specific recommendations in the
coming months regarding the specific needs.
