SCHEDULED ITEMS 7.1 DESIGN REVIEW FOR MEADOW CREEK TOWNHOMES AT 533 BELLEVUE AVENUE, FILE NO. DR24-016 BACKGROUND: The Meadow Creek Townhomes Development proposes to construct 62 townhomes on a 4.78-acre parcel. The two-story townhomes would be clustered in 5 and 6-plexes throughout 12 separate buildings. Units are proposed with 3-bedrooms ranging from 1,500-1,800 square feet. A total of 190 parking spaces are shown on the project site plan. PRESENTED BY: Sachnoor Bisla, City Planner Planner Bisla presented. Applicant Representatives presented. Chair Rabinowitsh opened and closed public comment at 10:00 a.m. Applicant Representatives responded to Committee Member inquiries. 8. The public may comment on agenda items when the item is called. Each speaker is allowed three minutes. 5. COMMITTEE BUSINESS 5.1 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE The role of the Waterways Advisory Committee is to review development projects, both public and private, that are located adjacent to creeks and waterways for consistency with the goals, policies and regulations for creekside development identified in the Santa Rosa General Plan, Zoning Code, Design Guidelines and Citywide Creek Master Plan. While the Committee does not take formal action on projects, it does provide advisory comments to the decision-making body. All development projects located adjacent to a creek or waterway are required to be reviewed by the WAC prior to proceeding through the entitlement process. 5.2 COMMITTEE REPORTS 6. DEPARTMENT REPORTS This time is reserved for City staff to provide a briefing on issues of interest.
