SWEARING IN
The Honorable Douglas Mills administered the Oath of Office to the following
Council members: Kenneth Klotz, Michael Lenz, Thomas McTygue, Thomas Curley
and Stephen Towne. He also administered the Oath of Office to Phil Klein and
Anthony Scirocco, City representatives to the County Board of Supervisors.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Kenneth Klotz called the meeting to order at 11:10 AM.
MAYOR’S OFFICE (02-001)
Mayor Kenneth Klotz announced the appointment of Henry J. Kuczynski as Deputy
Mayor, Jeffrey Wait as City Attorney, Anthony Izzo as Assistant City Attorney,
and Linda Benton as Executive Assistant to the Mayor.

ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT (02-002)
Commissioner Stephen Towne appointed Deborah Harper as Deputy Commissioner
of Accounts.
FINANCE DEPARTMENT (02-003)
Commissioner Michael Lenz re-appointed Christine Gillmett-Brown as Deputy Commissioner of
Finance. He said Christine Gillmett-Brown is an asset to the City and is considered by most of
the people in City Hall as the "go-to" person, and she has proven herself as a dedicated employee
and a consummate professional, and it is an honor and a privilege to announce her
reappointment.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS (02-004)
Commissioner Thomas McTygue re-appointed Bruce Brown as Deputy Commissioner of
Department of Public Works. Commissioner Thomas McTygue said he has appointed many
Deputies over the years and he is pleased and privileged to re-appoint Bruce Brown.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY (02-005)
Commissioner Thomas Curley re-appointed Bob King as Deputy Commissioner of
Department of Safety. He said that Bob King is dedicated to the City of Saratoga
Springs and is and has been since 1995 a great asset to Commissioner Curley and
the Department of Public Safety, and he is glad to reappoint him.
ADJOURNMENT
Commissioner Michael Lenz moved and Commissioner Thomas Curley seconded to
adjourn the meeting at 11:25 p.m. Ayes all.
There being no further business, Mayor Kenneth Klotz adjourned the meeting at
11: 25 a.m.
