CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Valerie Keehn called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
Mayor Valerie opened the public comment period.
Commissioner Matthew McCabe said he had received several telephone calls today concerning
the trees that are to be cut down in the state park. He asked if there was some way that the
City could get more information before that happens. Mayor Valerie Keehn said both she and
Deputy Mayor Nancy Ohlin had spoken to staff at the state park and it appears that the cutting
of the trees will happen. Apparently some of the trees are diseased and must come down. She
said she expressed her concern but it appears that the decision is final. Deputy Mayor Nancy
Ohlin said she and the Mayor were looking for a little more time to review the matter before the
trees were cut.
There being no one else wishing to speak, Mayor Valerie Keehn closed the public comment
period.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Valerie Keehn moved and Commissioner Ron Kim seconded to adjourn to
