Discussion and vote: Authorization for the Mayor to Sign Agreement with Saratoga County Youth Bureau No comments. Announcement: Saratoga Springs Recreation Programs and Leagues No comments. Discussion and vote: 2018 – 2023 Capital Budget and Program No comments. Discussion and Vote: Authorization for Mayor’s Signature to Submit for the 2017 Saratoga County Farmland Protection and Open Space Grant Program for Tommell Property Reimbursement ($50,000) No comments. ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT Discussion and Vote: Authorization for Mayor to Sign Addendum with Engie for Electric Services Commissioner Franck advised this addendum is due to the solar array. Discussion and Vote: Authorization for Mayor to Sign Addendum with Williams Scotsman Page 2 of 5 City Council Pre-Agenda Meeting August 14, 2017 Marilyn Rivers, director of risk and safety, advised this is an extension of the agreement for an additional year for the trailer at the DPW garage. This will be paid for by the City’s insurance. Discussion and Vote: Authorization for Mayor to Sign Change Order #1 with Mid-State Industries, Ltd. for Police Department Lake Avenue Doors Marilyn Rivers advised the bricks at the entry way need to be replaced and a light fixture needs to be installed. Award of Bid: Extension of Bid to Orkin for Integrated Pest Management Services No comments. FINANCE DEPARTMENT Announcement: Spa Solar Park Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 No comments. Announcement: SolSmart/U.S. Department of Energy National Designation Commissioner Madigan advised they recognize communities that have taken steps to foster growth of solar markets and those who have updated solar ordinances. We are working with SolSmart to see if we can become a bronze, silver, or gold designee. Discussion: 2017 Sales Tax Update Commissioner Madigan advised she will explain by the comptroller’s report does not accurately reflect the sales tax numbers. nd Discussion: 2 Quarter 2017 Financial Report No comments. Announcement: Resolution for Non-Union Full Time Personnel for 2018 Commissioner Madigan advised the resolution is required to be reviewed by the City Council. Discussion and Vote: Use of Reserve Resolution – Ice Rink Improvements and Equipment for Vernon Flooring Commissioner Madigan stated there is money in this reserve account and will be suggesting the Council used this money for the ice rink flooring.
